      HOEC

Professional freedom makes HOEC an exciting place to work at

In his role of Asset Manager (North East Assets), he is responsible for the strategic management of all the operating assets of HOEC. He is entrusted with the responsibility to engage with external stakeholders in all geographies where HOEC operates. Krishna is a mature and balanced professional with a multifunctional background. His diverse experience enables him to approach his responsibilities with extreme precision.

We caught up with Mr. P. R. Krishna for a chat. Below, is the excerpt of the interview with him.

How long have you been with HOEC?

I have been with the company for 4 years. I joined on February 5th, 2015.

What makes HOEC a special place to work for you?

The professional freedom makes HOEC an exciting place to work at. The management is very supportive of its employees taking on new challenges, and finding innovative ways to solve them.

Which projects have been the most meaningful to you? Why?

The Hollong Modular Gas Processing Plant is a very meaningful project to me. This is because it started as a small-scale “Out of the Box Idea”, and that idea then developed into a formal Long-Term Performance-Based Contract Model. Now, this model is found to be the best suited contract model by industry technical leaders for fields especially located in the North-East, which have constraints on land, limited working weather windows, and are located in ecologically fragile regions where one cannot carry out in situ construction work for a long time.

Since you began your career, what’s changed the most about the Oil & Gas industry?

The way we carry out our business: hold on to the core areas (or where one is strong), and outsource the remaining activities to the experienced companies.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Delegate and concentrate on activities where you are strong.
